Et tu, Doc? Rivers is latest Celtic injury victim
MIAMI — The Celtic injury bug is apparently contagious.
In a year where Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Chris Wilcox and Jermaine O’Neal
have undergone season ending surgeries and Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are
playing through infirmities, Doc Rivers is now coaching through a back
ailment that may require a procedure in the offseason.
在這個充滿傷兵的壓縮賽季，河流的背，繼 Bradley, Green, Wilcox, O'Neal 的
season ending surgeries、雷槍 & PP 半殘的身體，加入老賽的傷勢名單中。或許在賽
後會考慮接受手術。
Rivers told the Herald he has been diagnosed with a herniated disc and that
he took an epidural to relieve the pain.
“It’s been going on for about four weeks,” he said. “I think it was in
Game 4 or 5 against Philly that it really got bad, so I just went in and took
the shot.”
As for the possibility of surgery, Rivers said, “I don’t know. I hope not.”
He then smiled and added, “I’m sure Dr. (Brian) McKeon thinks so.
“But I don’t want to make a big deal out of this,” Rivers said. “I’m
fine.”
最近被診斷出運動員常發生的椎間盤突出，河流必須用注射來舒緩疼痛。"我猜應該是
在跟76打G4還G5時，疼痛加劇使得我必須開始注射"、"我希望不用動手術。但我不想把
這件事搞得轟轟烈烈，我覺得我還挺的住。"
Considering the maladies that have befallen the Celts this season, there
seems to be a cloud that is hanging over what is likely the last run together
for the trio of Pierce, Allen and Kevin Garnett.
And Rivers isn’t immune to the trend.
“I guess not,” he said. “But I’d rather have them all, though. I’d
rather me have the injuries and the players be fine.”
這季老賽的傷病不斷，烏雲罩頂也讓人不免覺得這應該是三巨頭在一起的最後一季。河流
也無法抵擋這波疫情，但他說，"我寧願我個人可以扛下所有傷痛，讓球員能健康打球"。
